
SYNOPSIS
OF
ROBERT FISH
Born
in 1974, and having left school in 1991, Robert started his career as a Trainee
Quantity Surveyor for Southampton based Building Contractor,
Leonard Field Group Plc, training and learning the profession. While
gaining on the job experience he undertook a number of courses,
culminating in the completion of his Degree by distance learning in 1999. Following
this, and in line with career objectives, he commenced a Post Graduate Diploma
in Arbitration at the
College of Estate Management at Reading University.
Following nearly 11 years at Leonard
Field Group, and having worked on projects in many sectors of the market he
left in August 2002 to join Warings Contractors Limited, a
Portsmouth based company. During this time he worked on a number of
projects including the new £40m Heritage and Technology Centre on the site
of the Historic Brooklands Race track for
Mercedes Benz.
In 2006 he left Warings and joined Alfred McAlpine Plc
where he lead the commercial team on a £27m health centre, the largest of
its type in the UK.
Following the sale of Alfred McAlpine to Carillon, and
looking for a new challenge Robert joined the Southampton team of Leadbitter
as Managing Surveyor and currently overseas the redevelopment of Southampton
City College.
