Burrell
Showman's Engine - Well with the
photography courses almost completed we are
looking to our next project, the
construction of a 4" scale Burrell DCC
Scenic Showman's Engine. You will be able to
keep up dated as we progress and a new web
site will be up and running by the summer
for the build.

HOLIDAY 2010
- This year saw is again on a cruise
ship, and again on the new largest cruise
ship in the world, The 225,282t Oasis of the
Seas. The destination....a two week
back to back cruse of the Caribbean.

BTEC Level 3
Award in Photography - After almost
12 months study it was today confirmed Rob
achieved the level 3 award, achieving a
Distinction in each of the units studied.

Membership of
the Royal Photographic Society -
Following completion of the entry
requirements Robert has become a member of
the Royal Photographic Society.

HOLIDAY 2009
- This year saw spending a week on the
island of Cyprus.

Award in Photography - After almost
12 months study it was today confirmed Rob
achieved the level 2 award, achieving a
merit in each of the units studied.

Christmas In
Disneyland - Having two weeks off this
year we decided to take a trip to Disneyland
Paris. Flying from Southampton on
Boxing Day Morning and spending four very
cold days in the parks.

- This
year we decided to try something different
for our two weeks away in the sun.
Following the launch of Royal Caribbean's
Independence of the Seas in May 2008 we
joined her for a two week cruise around the
northern shores of the Mediterranean.

Following the take
over of Alfred McAlpine Plc by Carillion
Plc, and the successful completion of The
Aldershot Centre For Health Project, Robert
has jointed the Southampton Team of
Leadbitter.

Three Peaks Challenge -
involves
climbing the highest peaks in England (Scafell
- 978m), Scotland (Ben Nevis - 1344m) and
Wales (Snowdon - 1085m).

Tash Driving
- first time behind
the wheel is only the beginning. The
professional instructors were by the side
during the first driving lesson at MB World
Brooklands.

 Lapland
2007 - 21
December 2007 was the day of our trip to
Kittila in
Finland (Lapland). Visited the The
Snow Village in the middle of a frosty
forest, we met all Santa's helpers and friends, hearing stories and trying out
activities like reindeer sleigh rides,
Snowmobiling, husky rides etc,
even meet the big man himself.

 Winter
Carnival - On
the 7 December a fantastic carnival and
lantern procession left the Civic Centre at
approximately 6.00pm and danced and paraded
through the City Centre eventually arriving
at Mayflower Park at approximately 6.45pm
where the Queen Victoria Christmas Festival
was in full swing

This year saw
us spending just over two weeks in Disney's
Caribbean Beach Resort in heart of the
Disney parks on the doorstep of Epcot. With
each park just a few minutes drive from the
resort it was a great place to enjoy the
magic of Disney.
