Christmas Holiday December 2008

This year saw me have a two week Christmas break for the fist time in many years, so we decided to make good use of it. I booked Tash and I on a 4 day trip to Disneyland Paris it was one of her Christmas Presents and was kept a secret until Christmas Day morning.   Early Boxing Day morning we boarded a flight from Southampton Airport to Paris.

This Photo was wrapped up with a Disney cup and soft toy and opened on Christmas Day morning.

After much debate with the travel agent, who as ever gave great advise we stayed at Disney's Newport Bay Club.  I have to say you can't even begin to compare this place to the Florida Parks, but it was still great fun.  The temperature was very cold, rarely much above freezing so the hats and gloves came in very handy.

Despite the weather, and in true British style, we were out and about the park all day every day, ensuring we made the most of it.  In the evenings the was still plenty to do, as you would expect at Disney.  While walking round the lake one night we found an out door Ice Skating Rink that was still open into the early hours of the morning.

As you would expect there was the Live Shows for all to enjoy, and although they were limited in number we did get to see Mickey's Winder Wonderland and the Lion King  shows.
